Remote Technical Support

Remote technical support (RTS) provides the option to examine your PC from a remote location via the Internet, potentially saving you both time and money in the process.

Usage

Using remote technical support couldn't be easier.  Just click on the rts.exe icon below to download the custom RTS server application.  Save the file to your desktop for best results.  The file is less than 170K in size, so it should download very quickly, even on slower Internet links.

Because RTS requires a technician to be present at the remote end, you must setup an appointment before such service can be provided.  Please click here for the contact information needed to setup an appointment.

To start the RTS program, just double-click the icon that you just downloaded.  The program runs totally in RAM and does not install itself on your hard drive.  When the session is completed, the program completely removes itself from your PC, leaving no trace behind.

Disclaimers

Remote technical support currently only works with Windows 98/ME/2000/XP based PCs.  To function, you must have a working Internet connection, the faster the better.  You must be present to initiate the RTS session, and to re-connect any session that is disconnected due to extended Internet interruptions, PC reboots, system lockups, etc.
